I'm getting tons of these download errors also:

203966 SRBase 11/29/2020 6:35:52 PM Giving up on download of inputa172_0016210.prp: permanent HTTP error

The problem is that BOINC doesn't try again to get good WUs. So my CPU just sits idle until I manually update the project.

Is there no way to remove these bad Work Units from the database?

If not, do you know if they are only in one particular project that maybe I can avoid for a while?

It looks like the 5,880 credit for Sierpinski Base was mistakenly given to Riesel Base instead?

If you can change the 5,880 from Riesel Base to Sierpinksi Base where it belongs, that's great.

If not, it is no big deal. As soon as there is work available for both I'll be going for the silver badge :)

FreeDC-stats has now been updated where you can see all negative values. Maybe there’s a way to request Bok to make an export of all clients so you can cross reference with request over here. Here’s my previously requested 69,500: https://stats.free-dc.org/user/srb/2182

Yes, that is where I see my missing credit from also: Free-DC.

Sierpinski Base -5,880
Sierpinski Base - short -3,080
Sierpinski / Riesel Base - average -65,490
Riesel Base - short -16,080
Sierpinski / Riesel Base -8,050

So I don't really know, but I'll hazard a guess? Is it because the "R" in "ARM" stands for "RISC," which stands for Reduced Instruction Set Computing? Maybe these processors don't have the instructions needed for efficiently computing Fast Fourier Transforms?

Like others here, I don't understand all of the math involved in writing the number crunching algorithms used by BOINC. I read Prime Obsession about the Riemann Hypothesis, and understood only enough to know that prime number theory is extremely interesting!

But I usually learn a lot from these types of forums. If anyone can explain what frankhagen is hinting about, I'd appreciate it!
