The windows update has automatically restarted the PC in the night (was disabled), the database crashed. My 2 big backups of the VM are also corrupt including the last backups of the database. Unfortunately mysqdumper cannot import the correct numbers of tables so I used phpmyadmin with success, the last backup was from 13th so we have lost 4 days (not the reported work). I had no hope to reactivate the project but I did.

Pls stop all your old WUs. I will give credit for all the lost work. If you have registered in the last 4 days and your account is not recognized pls reregister.

I must remove all the current work and recheck all bases which results are missing. Also the TF work need to be resetup (not all I think).

- 49500 credits
- deadline 8d (+1d grace_period)
- 10k WUs

16+ hours per WU? If that is correct, you're going to have to give more than 49,500 points per WU. Not worth running it at those rates, unless someone just loves this project.

Split the tasks for longer and shorter ones. And put in FAQ 'top rage card required for long tasks' or something like that. It will make clear who should try to crunch the project.

no factor for M3310968337 from 2^68 to 2^69 [mfaktc 0.21 barrett76_mul32_gs]

The current test looks good so far, this error at the end is only looking for more work and I cant get rid of this, the CUDA apps are much faster than AMD opencl.

What if you loaded worktodo.txt file with more than one entry? They are very short at the moment.

Everything on the server status page shows Ubuntu as the OS, why is there a Windows point of failure at all? Windows 10, is it a LTS build? I don't like running Win10 on my desktop, but I also play games that will not run on Linux.

How much work was lost? What was the cost of trusting MS?
Giving the hardware a pass may be wrong, but I'm assuming we're running on enterprise gear, that may be a false assumption on my part.

Ubuntu is the Guest (running in VMware under windows10) I need both systems. A VM can be moved to another place too.

Could you do it the other way around, make Windows the guest of the Ubuntu system?

Or run VMware ESXi as bare metal hypervisor with the Ubuntu VM and then Windows also in a VM?

nope. I only need to fix this bluescreen issue and everything is fine.

I lost about half of the points from 520k including badges from what I remember.
