Will you be updating the website to allow us to set multicore/thread settings without having to mangle app_config files? Would make things much easier.

If you need help implementing it maybe you can ask them at PrimeGrid for help.

Thanks for the update. Not your fault... Blame Murphys law: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time."

We are not here 24/7 !
It would be most informative if your messages were tagged with UTC-time like other projects. It can't be that difficult !

UTC time is standard on boinc servers. You could abo the thread.

I think he might be taking about the Notices Tab in BOINC on his personal PC's. Appears BOINC converts UTC time to users local time for anything in the Notices tab based on users PC clock settings. Forum postings are listed in UTC.

Something is still not quite right here...
Confirmed now receiving updates within the Boinc program but the messages KEEP REFRESHING EVERY 6 HOURs (BOINC saying there are "new notices" from this project) which is what the current refresh interval is set at.

I have never seen this issue at any other project.
I use BOINC Ver 7.16.11 x64 WINDOWS.

Here are the notices I keep seeing as new on all 6 PC's that run the Windows app:

Let's hope your server survives what little time is left of 2020 and a long time afterwards.

Maybe a really remote chance the VSS issue is some how related to the recent chkdsk issue/crashing on Win10.

Have you tried posting to an official Microsoft forum about the crashing?

Have to "love" Windows 10 :(

Wish you luck in finding the cause of the crash. The error seems to be "common" according to a www search and is as old as M$ Windows is.

The majority of the search results and solutions are vague in narrowing down the exact culprit but the most common thing I can see among them is the anti-virus/malware and/or Interrupt Requests (IRQ) conflicts as most likely interfering with read/write access to section(s) of memory.

This Microsoft help pages does not provide much info...
This error means that something may be wrong with a device driver, your device's memory, or antivirus software on your device. Here are some things to try:

* Make sure that your drivers are current by checking for the latest Windows updates. Select the Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates. Next, restart your device. Select Start > Power > Restart.
* Verify that your device has the latest updates.

Another Microsoft help page is no better solution either: IRQ conflict in Windows 10 but option to change interrupt grayed out.

A slightly better explanation of possible causes I found at Super User com: What exactly is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL?.
Like the two above it still does not to pinpoint an exact problem or solution and is no better in offering a fix for it.

From Digital Citizen:
How to delay Windows 10 updates, like the November 2019 Update

Easy to understand instruction in the article linked above.

For how much time can you delay updates in Windows 10?

Regardless of the Windows 10 edition that you are using, be it Windows 10 Pro or Windows 10 Home, you can pause updates. In the Home edition, you can only delay them for up to 35 days, while in more expensive editions such as Windows 10 Pro, you can delay them for up to 365 days.
