| I'm a survivor of a brain tumor since 2004, but in spite of that, I'm still able to perform my job as an engineer. Chemo is a distant memory. Here's my wife and I at Pinnacle State Park in Arkansas.  (Imageshack went bye-bye) My main hobby is messing with my Linux computers and learning as much as I can about them. I'm doing it for the team - SETI.USA Go team! (Imageshack started charging money) Distributed computing in general is a great idea. Harnessing unused processor cycles can help projects such as this that need large amounts of data processed. If the computers are running, they might as well be doing something useful. | |
