As I am unable to get email address from BOINC, as I used to, I will be placing messages on this Board when there is an AA.
Hi BOINC@AUSTRALIA member.
Aussie Assault 59 (AA59)
The project for AA59 is The Ramanujan Machine on BOINC project. AA59 will run from 01-14 May 2022 inclusive starting at 10:00am Sydney Time and all members are encouraged to give some or all of their CPU power to this Project during that time. There is a link to a converter below to check the time in your location.
If during the AA there is a problem with the major project, then QuChemPedIA@home was the runner up in the voting and therefor the alternate project.. QuChemPedIA@home uses ViirtualBox on Windows machines and therefor VirtualBox must be installed on your machine to use it on this project. Linux machines will be able to run the application like normal.
NOTE: If World Community Grid is back up and running and there is no work available from The Ramanujan Machine on BOINC, those with Windows machines should maybe run World Community Grid. It is up to you but run The Ramanujan Machine on BOINC as it is the main project.
If you attach to any of these projects for the first time, remember to Join the Team on your Accounts page "!
Congratulations to the Team for passing 117 Billion credits for combined total in BOINC not including Bitcoin Utopia. The Team is currently 14th in the world overall. That is a lot of science and hopefully has benefited mankind. We also have members that contribute to non-BOINC projects such as Folding @Home and Majestic-12.
