| Originally from Richmond, Surrey, England. Bought a house in Blackwater, near Camberley but over the Blackwater river, so actually in Hampshire. Met a Danish girl in Santiago, Chile, in 1997, she is now my wife, and we live in Espergærde, Denmark. It will be my 60th birthday next month, (2017). I was an embedded software engineer for various companies, but retired in 2008. I still do a bit of C++ programming on my PC's, when I find something that interests me sufficiently. I crunch most BOINC projects until they do something that annoys me enough to leave. I have two 4GHz i7's running 24/7 running BOINC at this time. |

Mathematical projects are not terribly interesting to me, I tend to give higher weighting to science projects. Of course, most projects have mathematics behind them, so I do crunch them, unless they are truly frivilous. |
