I'm afraid Linux works more differently from Windows than think. I've made PRST.exe an executable file, but Linux can't make chocolate of it, even when I improve the command to

goto properties-permissions-allow executing file as program, you can only use a linux app to run on linux not from windows

This is a Manjaro Linux system that gives the "1 (0x1) Unknown error number" message. If PRST.exe -boinc -fermat "13288*96^204730-1" does not work under Linux, how am I suppose to test it?

The available download was only for windows. If you click on the link here download the linux64 and run this.

https://github.com/patnashev/prst/releases/download/v11.1/prst-11.1-linux64.7z

rename the app to PRST and use

./PRST -d -fermat "13288*96^204730-1

as it is the non boinc version

What should I expect to be the outcome when all is well, and what will be the outcome if it isn't?
For now i have this as output:
>
to be augmented with this comment after a few minutes

Unknown option 13288*96^204730-1

I've added the missing " now, so it is
./PRST -d -fermat "13288*96^204730-1"

I'll try -with the t option (t=4?)- next run. The previous is still running.

If both tests are from prst v11 we could need more tests with llr3.8.21 and llr2 to track down the issue. Dont forget to use -t2 or -t4 option.

You need to run in this form

./llr -d -q"13288*96^204730-1"

http://jpenne.free.fr/index2.html

and
./llr2 -d -Gerbicz=1 -q"13288*96^204730-1"

https://github.com/patnashev/llr2/releases

I see a LLR2 app at https://github.com/patnashev/llr2/releases

should I use that for both

./llr -d -q"13288*96^204730-1"

and

./llr2 -d -q"13288*96^204730-1"

?

no, these are 2 different apps

I have reported the first issues to dev. Iam pretty sure if llr is not failing but llr2, the gwnum lib is bugged. Its also possible to have broken RAM.

I'll test with the llr2 app tomorrow (it is 02:00 here now), where to find the llr app?

Same here, https://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/forum_thread.php?id=1813&postid=9489

Use -Gerbicz=1 with llr2

That's good, now all what's left is overheating or broken RAM.

If llr2 is running with -Gerbicz=1 and no errors then the hardware is fine. If not then run llr2 without -Gerbicz=1, the residue must be the same as from llr.

Thx in advance for testing!

Here is a quicktest on my Ryzen with -t4
13288*96^204730-1 is not prime. RES64: EDDE501C3B66633F Time: 228 s.

So llr is fine.
