Due the split there will be work available for around 10h. I will add new work for average + R880 reruns tomorrow. The server has too much work now in progress while the database nearly hits the limit again.

Move these to tomorrow, will add a little 25-60k range for R810 in around 30min.

...
I have planned since 2 years to write a paper how SRBase is working.

This would be interesting to read. I also don't understand why there are so many gaps in work. It seems to be a feast or famine scenario.

I cant do anything, mostly I must waiting for the last results.

Perhaps dramatically shorten the time limit for WUs so people can't sit on them. Also limit the number of WUs that a host can have in play at any given time. I would think that these measures would either solve or greatly ameliorate your turn around issues.

Thats a good idea but the limitation is only working for all apps at once not for a specific app.

I am not sure if there is a problem, but tasks are either not downloading or taking forever, and then so randomly that my computers are sitting idle for long periods of time, as these tasks are fast.

Even if you do manual request it is very seldom working, and then only a few that run out quickly.

Not sure if it is only my problem, but could you have a look see:)

Yes. I know. The R63 are really fast and without any other app the WUs can be stucking due the high load rate. Iam still working on it and should be back to normal with a new batch (longer WUs)

Iam expecting out of work tomorrow. I need to check the average results first before I can load new work, the database hits nearly the limit.

Patiently waiting for more tasks to crunch (yet again!).

I really have never understood why this project runs out of work so often when there are trillions of numbers that need processing. Darned annoying to waste CPU cycles. And no the stupid project doesn't automatically search for new tasks when they become available. All my computers just sit there empty idling away. Only when I click on get more work does it spring into action.

Hats off to the Gridcoin folk who somehow manage to get work to crunch.
