There is now a very small runtime batch. The work creation will be slower than getting work.

Looks like all that's left is Riesel Base WU's and I'm crunching those at about 1 every 13 seconds on average so those I'm sure will be gone soon too. Any updates on when more work will be available? Preferably some of the big ones (longs)?

The server appears to be very slow today. Is this due to the R7 tiny tasks? My computers keep running out of work and it takes many clicks on Update in BOINC Manager to get some more downloaded.

Is there a way to get more tasks sent? As the tasks are completed in under 30 seconds the machines constantly run out of work and sit idle.

is it possible to pre-prepare some bases to quickly load them when apps get empty?

Preparing is not a big deal but we have not enough work done to load some new stuff. Iam thinking on some alternatives.

No, more bases in one app.

So rebirther, when you run out of WUs here at srbase does that mean we should go to YoYo and crunch their WUs. In so doing it will create work over here?

If you have a backup project then yes.

why is it so hard to get work? I have multiple computers both Windows 7, Windows 10 and Linux trying to get tasks. Cache is set to 0.1 days. I hit update in BOINC Manager and it says no tasks sent. If I repeat this many times I might be lucky and get some tasks. The Server status says >250,000 S Base tasks are available. Well hand them out!!!

Some machines manage to get tasks and build a cache but other machines sit idle for hours. Is this a user setting error? Could it be that BOINC is still a stupid program as it has been since it started (but there is nothing else for DC to use)? Or is it something set by the srbase server?

The current tasks are small and hundreds of hosts are asking for work at the same time. I will change the priority of the app so you should get work.
