The validator is checking for some keywords, in this case "error" and a bad residue causing the WU invalid.
RES64: 0000000000000000. OLD64: 0000000000000003
You need to check your hardware, maybe the CPU is overheated. |

Check this also:
Error writing intermediate file
Something might blocking the stderr.txt sometimes (Antivirus / Firewall) |

AMD FX-8350 66 °C
Max safe operating temp for that CPU is 62C.
So you need to run it cooler.
https://safetemp.blogspot.com/2015/12/amd-fx-series-fx-8350-max-temp.html
My 1090T also would run at 65C and pass AMD Overdrive stress test for an hour but then it would fail SRBase WU's at high rates and this project forced me to redo my 1090T's overclock.
SRBase WUs run the CPU hotter than most all other BOINC WU's I've tested and push the CPU thermal limits.
So try to run at slightly lower voltage if you wish to run SRBase. It's more cost efficient to run downvolted with slower results but much less electricity used.
Besides, with a climate crisis upon humanity, it's not a great idea to run massively inefficient overclocks. I've downvolted my 1090t as far as possible and so it can still host my GPU crunchers till I can afford an new build.

An 8th gen Intel i5 8250u has as many threads, can do about the same amount of SRBase work and runs at 15 watts at max load and I've found laptops with it going for under $300 used. The FX-8350 draws 92W when it's doing no work at all...

@marmot
Thanks for doing Plejaden's homework.
I've noticed that when I use (Intel) hyperthreading with SRBase, there's no overheating but WUs take nearly twice as long. This confirms their assertion that the code is very intensive - meaning minimal waiting for data.
AMD's CPUs are known for their ability with mixed loads - Intel's when it comes to sprinting. SRBase falls clearly into the latter category.
Intel's CPUs generally have thermal control - when they get too hot they reduce frequency to keep cool. AMD's generally do not - with the risk of serious overheating.

???
in the net, the ghosts divide drum which temp would be ok now which not so this one side does not make it fat yet
it is a back and forth with the information |

@marmot
I went down with the overclocking - I am 4 ghz and there are no more WU editing errors. And for what?
Besides, with a climate crisis on humanity, it's not a great idea to run massively inefficient overclocks.
... ????
so i think there are enough annoying polluters where you really need to act as this cpu overclocking DO NOT GO TO THE LITTLE LOT.
there are enough other things that are more important to us on the part of the environment the government should you write about because of environmental climate but please do not ask me!
Otherwise, you would have to write to anyone on the online games etc. zockt and overclocked so let it be before you speak of such things |

Good to know how things causing invalid results. I have added this issue to the FAQ. |
