is a subproject for GPU Trial Factoring of Mersenne Prime. The project will be run on opencl for AMD and Nvidia cards on 64bit only.
There is still some further processing in creating all the server stuff.

How long will the tasks be and how much will the tasks weigh my GPU? Like if they are very taxing or they're moderate or they're light.

Because of using the same wrapper from SRBase checkpoints should be possible with the same time display issue if you restart BOINC / PC

The progress is good so far, in the first tests I have fixed the output template (you will see some errors) and the assimilator. I have created now 500 test units. The runtime is around 15s on a AMD 5500 XT card. Badges are also available now.

The project is still beta. Now 1000 WUs real work were added. Before you start pls read the FAQ. You dont need to set the beta flag anymore in your account.

Is this facilitated by the existing GPU72 project that functions in the Prime95 framework?

https://www.gpu72.com/

Or are we duplicating the research from scratch?

Do we need to wait for all work to be returned before new work will be loaded like the other sub-projects, or will there eventually be a steady supply?

for this we must wait, the next step will have constantly work while we reporting results in the background.

Is there a bug or something where you can't use more than 1 GPU in a system?

Any of my systems with dual GPU setups are running 2 tasks at once, but on 1 GPU only. Second GPU is idle. Does this on both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.

only mfaktc has multi-GPU support (nvidia cards) and should run all GPUs on one WU

This doesn't work like that right now it seems. I'll post in the other from now on about any issues I have.

There will be a name change of the project due a not permitted name from the website operator.

I know it is a bit of a work, but you may also remove the unpermitted name from all message posts where it occurs. Sorry.
