If you are getting an error in your BOINC client log:

Scheduler request failed: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with give

you must update/replace the ca-bundle.crt from the BOINC client. It looks like the file is outdated. Stop BOINC, replace the file and restart.

I put the file in the download folder for download.

https://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/download/ca-bundle.crt

It fixes the problem but it takes awhile, I had to restart the client twice and not force the update, just let BOINC deal with it, mine finally updated by itself without my pushing and uploaded everything.

What update ?
My ca-bundle.crt has timestamp 31-05-2021 17:33.
My boinc is 7.16.11
I don't believe this explanation.

ca-bundle is out of date on boinc-client to windows applications.

Read more at:
http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/forum_thread.php?id=575&postid=8360#8360
and
https://www.sidock.si/sidock/forum_thread.php?id=153

Your file may not be on expire date or you have have new ca.

I took ca from my one of ubuntu machines and replace old at
c:/program files/boinc/
and next update to any project it was back to uploading files.

Correct. I solved the problem this way:

http://wuprop.boinc-af.org/forum_thread.php?id=575&postid=8363

Edit the file c:\Program Files\BOINC\ca-bundle.crt with administrative privileges, and remove the DST Root CA X3 expired certificate.

I think, the problem will also fixed with the next windows boinc client update.

Thank you.
It´s all fine now. SRBase files uploaded successfully after changing the crt-file. (and now i can see the news in BOINC about that problem ;) )

OK, I don't have to "FIX" any other BIONC apps like this.

The site should issue this update to its software itself, but my client can't even connect, and I am not looking to report or get WU's at this point.

It would be easier to delete the project and reinstall after a while.

Delete will not help. You could update BOINC by the latest version or replace the cert file

The new 64 bit version of BOINC for Windows is 7.16.20 available at
https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php
