Reb, do you have any goals in mind for TF for 2023?

no, we are going through the bit levels. Only more computation power would be nice.

I would like to help get to the next bit level can anyone let me know what unit/task number that will be? Numbers are located at the end of each task. Reason I am asking as I can keep an eye on progress

Thanks Reb, is there a way to tell how far away this is? In regards to looking at numbers on the tasks that are issued to us

Thanks. I guess what I'm asking Reb is are you saying there is not going to be a credit drop for a year? I am asking in this thread simply because it is a goal that I would like to help get to. For example going from 13,500 credits per task to 13,250 or 13,000 credits per task.
Currently it takes my 3080 about 6 minutes 2 seconds to process 1 task, without finding a prime

The next bitlvl will be 75-76

Sue you are thinking it will take a year + to get through 74 – 75?
It is now taking about 5 minutes and 55 seconds to complete task, on the 16th (6 days ago) it was taking me just over 6 minutes per task

Yes, you have a fast card but other hosts like mine with RX5500XT taking around 1h+, we only can estimate the total time, 74-75bit took a year, we have 16M tests left in this range.

Thanks Reb, yes I agree I am lucky to have a fast card, will help you out as I want to trying get to the highest badge level. I know this will take a while. Apologies for the spelling mistake in my previous post instead of "Sue" was meant to read "So"

Have we reached the next bitlvl? I see credit is now 12,500 a drop of 1000, for what appears to be about a 8 second drop in run time. We got to the 1st credit drop quicker than I expected. Fantastic!

no, I have tested the current runtime on my card. As I said, it will take a year for the next bitlvl.

OK, as the reason for the credit drop because we have finished/completed another bit level/range? If no why credits dropped from 13,500 to 12,500?

We have some tests left for the next range but yes, after every range there is a runtime drop.
