Was the deadline on S79 lowered to 6 hours without an announcement? I've had several tasks canceled at around that point for allegedly hitting the deadline. https://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/result.php?resultid=135484423 is an example.

Server-side, it's right, but both of my clients (different versions and OS's) are displaying six-hour deadlines. Is this a client bug?
Edit: This is the only project I'm having this issue with. WUProp's deadline is an even 7 days from the task download, for example.

Perhaps the grace_period of 6h, 6h more time is available for a WU before a replica will be sent out.

I have this problem since I turn off my machines for ~7 hours to avoid very punitive peak time electricity pricing.
I have been experiencing ~10% work unit attrition with the new deadline.
I do know the inefficiency is because of the 2023 Goal...
Rebirther has promised a return to the norm.
I am not concerned.

I see the issue with the deadline, instead 12h + 6h (grace_period) it was 6h + 6h, the boinc client cant see the grace_period so you have only 6h.
All WUs were set to 12h.

No penalty, that was just the percentage of works units lost to error "Not started by deadline" over work units completed between database purges.
Looks like Rebirther found and fixed the error.
