In 2024 we have updated the TOP5000 prime report guide / info mail. While SRBase is running PRST all the time all the credits are going to the PRST proof.
This means that a user must create a new PRST proof code and report the rest there. If you dont want to report a new CRUS code was created to report to the anonymous account.

Why that? The only change is the llr code to PRST, reporting to CRUS is still unchanged. If you report to your own user you have your user and CRUS, if not then anonymous account at CRUS if it was unclear.

What is CRUS, where do I create the account and do I create the name Dingo in my case. For us that have no interaction with CRUS or the TOP5000 Primes except for Primegrid doing it for us.

It seems I can do this if and when I even find a decent Prime. As I have not done so yet I will wait till I find one then do the set up to submit it.

Going anonymous still means SRBase will announce that YOU found one far and wide in the Notifications section of the Boinc Manager so EVERYONE will now you got one.

CRUS stands for "Conjectures R' Us". It is the project that helped(?) start SRBase.
The coolest thing about SRBase is that if you find a prime.
You get to claim it!
I have found two so far! (check Signature)
It made my month each time!
It does take a bit of trying to figure out the reporting, even with the instructions, but it is worth it.

What Rebirther is talking about is instead of using the LLR tag when reporting you would use the PRST tag - this gives credit to those who helped (you) find the Prime(!).

I realise now that I have an account which was created by Primegrid. I can login to the account and add a new one if I find one sometime. I have found 37 Primes on Primegrid that are on file.

Happened to me previously that I missed the PM at SRBase as I was travelling for work and away from my computer and it got reported anonymously.
I wish that SRBase would enable automatic reporting for users like PrimeGrid does.

The limit is 5d. We dont have automatic reporting. PG has full rights somehow and you always need a PW per account
If you missing a prime let me know. I will contact an admin to transfer it to your account.
