	since 2 days ago. affected are - password reset - UOTD mails due smtp connection error. there was a change by the provider. Iam trying to fix this somehow.

	After spending many hours the biggest issue is the new tls1.2+ protocoll, our server is too old and doesnt support that. php5.6 was an option but was also not supported.

	That sounds like a ton of work and downtime to upgrade. That is unfortunate. Yes, unfortunately, in the future tls1.1 will not work anymore for 3rd party hosters due security reasons like spammers.

	We have found a way and ran it on a testserver. Could be added here in the future. Update: The emailsystem was setup and is now fully working.
