When will this project support MacOS devices, either Intel or Apple Silicon Macs, of both?

TF = Trial Factoring with GPU
prst is for CPUs

In the past we have tried to asked someone to compile a mac app, most of them switched from mac to windows, no luck.

mfaktc has a mac app but we need our boinc wrapper compiled for mac.

Also prst with our source code need to be compiled for mac too, we cannot use the latest app.

If someone can compile it let me know.

Hi,

I have no idea how to port this, but you could consider making a donation goal for people to fund, asking for the money to hire someone to do that work, compiiling a Mac version of the BOINC wrapper, so Apple Silicon Macs can work on the project, or just, since most of the applications support Intel Macs, making Apple Silicon work by running the WU's through Rosetta 2.

What do you think of this idea? :)

We already have a native mac app for prst running with an installed rosetta app on Mx chips.

Ok, but I am still no getting any works units on my base M4 Mac Mini, neither native, through Rosetta 2, nor even in a Windows virtual machine through Parallels.

For the Parallels issue, this is because It is installing an x86 version of BOINC, which SRBase does not support, so there is no way at all to run this project on Apple Silicon Macs currently.

yes, only on 64bit. What is your OS based on? Maybe too old to run.
