Message 10391 - Posted: 12 Jan 2025, 1:36:50 UTC

I'm using Windows 11 and BOINC for computations.
I can receive tasks, but I'm unable to run them on my Intel GPU.
The tasks seem to complete after a few seconds, but then an error appears after a few minutes.
However, Intel GPU tasks for PrimeGrid and Amicable Numbers run fine.
As a beginner, I'm not sure how to resolve this issue and properly participate in this project.

I hope you can take some time to help and guide me. Thank you

Rebirther will let the developers know!

What is your configuration for the Intel ARCs?

Can you post your error message?

Where can I see the error message? Would I need to select any options in the event log , if possible?

The current situation with the newly assigned TF 0.44 task is that the GPU shows no activity. After running for one minute, the progress jumps from 0% to 100% instantly, and then it keeps running without completing, with no error message displayed. Every time I pause it, it restarts, creating a loop.

The document I found is only 1K, and it seems to contain no specific error details.

I've encountered another issue.
When I use only the A750, it crashes after 3 seconds with the following error. However, when I enable the AMD 5600G integrated graphics and use both, it runs for about a minute before suddenly jumping from 0% to 100%, and I can't end the task or get an error message. The task manager also shows that it's using my 5600G integrated graphics.

The stderr.txt looks ok, iGPU should not getting work, need to check.

Can you try to exclude the iGPU from the project

<cc_config> <options> <exclude_gpu> <url>http://srbase.my-firewall.org/sr5/</url> <type>ATI</type> <device_num>1</device_num> <app>TF</app> </exclude_gpu> <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus> </options> </cc_config>

and see if Intel arc is working?

Another option would be to disable AMD GPU in your prefs.

I don't know how to add it, so I asked ChatGPT to help me place it. This is how it was written into the cc_config.xml. I'm not sure if it's correct, but even after doing this, it still doesn't work.

<!-- GPU Settings -->
<exclude_gpu>

<type>ATI</type>
<device_num>1</device_num>
<app>TF</app>
</exclude_gpu>
<use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
</options>
</cc_config>

yes, it was correct. If you deactivate AMD in your prefs is it also not working?

Even after disabling AMD, it still cannot process tasks.
And BOINC will show this message【SRBase: Notice from BOINC

I don't know what FPGA Emulation is or what program it uses.
but Software conflicts typically arise when running them simultaneously, right?
