After reporting results to primenet, all results from theses apps were invalid. We still need to investigate what's wrong.

The aarch apps are now reenabled and were ok.

The user is informed to stop the wrong app with mfaktc0.23 which has no checksums.

So how is the user supposed to get the mfaktc executable OTHER than the 0.23 version?

My project folder contains mfaktc-linux-aarch64_cuda102-v1.zip file which includes the 0.23 version executable.

I cannot check the version, the dev told me it was the 0.24 or I have enabled the wrong app. The other user is used windows app not aarch.

Message 11424 - Posted: 3 Feb 2026, 4:05:37 UTC - in response to Message 11423.

The file I have in my folder must have come from the project itself since gimps does not publish any version for aarch64.

Only x86 version for Linux and Windows.

When I unpack the zip file and run ./mfaktc --version it reports as version 0.23.4

I ran ./mfaktc -st which is the self-test function and it ran all the test files with no errors.

So are you going to provide the aarch64 compiled version 0f 0.24 which seems to be the latest on gimps/Mersenne site?

I don't have the capability of compiling it myself and since you provided the existing version, it seems you need to provide the correct version now again.

That is bad. I will inform the dev, last time mersenne did not update one app code or forgot it but was from windows.

But your zip file is wrong
mfaktc-linux-aarch64_cuda102-arm2.zip is in download folder. Perhaps an old entry.

No. Take a look again at the location. The location is pulled from the SRBase resource site.

Not from my local Downloads folder on the host.

Ohh. you are saying your resource location has an updated file with a different filename.

I can either reset the projec which should pull in the correct file from the updated location or download the new filename from the project download folder.\

As long as that folde can be accessed from outside the client.

The file does not exists.

It must be an older app. Try to make a project reset to update.

Yes, I reset the project and it pulled down the new file. I will reset the projec t on my other hosts too to get the correct zipfile and binary.

Yes, the newly named mfaktc-linux-aarch64_cuda102-arm2.zip archive has the 0.24 version of mfaktc.
