Why is there a limit on tasks being downloaded? The limit is 10 per core. I dont want to give a large cache because I need the results back as soon as possible.

I can understand that limit of 10 for the long and average tasks, but not for (very) short tasks. Especially for the sub-15 seconds tasks (on my hosts, that is) the cores are more often than not busy doing nothing while waiting for the boinc client and boinc server to finish their spiel of uploading/reporting/downloading. A higher limit would keep those cores (more) busy doing real work.

I have changed the priority of the app to a higher level to have more WUs available in feeder cache.
