Why does this project not double check results? Primegrid's current double checks show how many bad residues there are (here and here). It would be horrible to miss a prime and go on much longer than necessary, and it would help stop cheaters. Is there a reason for not double-checking work? Or even using adaptive replication?

The double check is only on some results which have different errors. There is no need to double check all results because of using only one app (anonymous platforms are not allowed).

Wouldn't it be fairly simple to set up some script or change the BOINC client to get around this? Even if no double checking works for standard users, what's going to stop someone like team Gridcoin from cheating for RAC? I really like the static credit for tasks, but if someone's dedicated enough, I imagine it could be worked around.

I had a cheater from Gridcoin and blacklisted this host, all the tasks were rerun again so no problem on project side.
